Dr. Maria Montessori
Born in Italy, Maria Montessori was the first female doctor of the nineteenth century who dedicated her life to serving the needs of the children.
Through her observation, she concluded that children are able to educate themselves to their best potential if they are provided with an environment of self-correcting materials.
The teacher facilitates the environment by meeting the needs of the children at every plane of development. She designed and created the materials to invite learning from within the individual.
Her love for peace and tolerance was demonstrated when she was nominated three times for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Her teachings have been embraced successfully all over the world with great emphasis on the development of the child and the love for nature, “The environment itself will teach the child, if every error he makes is manifest to him, without the intervention of a parent or teacher, who should remain a quiet observer of all that happens.”
Maria Montessori’s philosophy is focused on building a better, brighter and peaceful tomorrow by educating these young minds. We want to be instrumental in exercising this philosophy.
